How to Setting a Proxy in Windows 10 & 11

Proxies allow you to rotate your IP address, preventing your scraping activities from being easily detected and blocked by websites. Continuous scraping from a single IP address can trigger anti-scraping mechanisms, but setting different proxy for windows and other device helps distribute the requests.

Setup Proxy in Windows

Step 1
Click on the Start button, and then click on the Settings icon to open the Settings menu.

Navigate to the “Network & Internet” section on the left and click on the ‘Proxy’ tab.

Press the “Set up” button in the Manual proxy setup section.

Enable the ‘Use a proxy server’ feature, enter the proxy server’s address and port number, ensure the ‘Don’t use the proxy server for local addresses’ option is selected, and click ‘Save’.
